[ESP] | [ENG] - La magia de fotografiar alimentos

Creo que ya conoces de mi gusto por la comida y mi gusto por fotografiar comida. Fotografiar alimentos es un hobbie bastante interesante, se puede jugar mucho con la composición, los ángulos y la iluminación además de que se experimenta profundamente con la creatividad al intentar traducir el aroma, la textura y el sabor en algo visual. Hace unos días me desperté un poco más inspirada de lo usual, mi ojo creativo se encontraba más agudo de lo normal así que mientras preparaba mi desayuno surgieron esas ganas de fotografiar lo sencillo de mi comida. Además de que la excusa perfecta era también usar mi nuevo setup fotográfico.

El intenso color amarillo de la tortilla y el precioso rojo de las fresas, la textura de la rebada de pan y lo tostado y crujiente que se percibe después, la composición entre los pocos elementos...jugar un poco con la psicología del color y la textura es como armar una especie de rompecabezas estético. Además, existe algo poético en fotografiar un plato de comida justo en el momento de que desaparezca. Inmortalizar la perfección de ese recuerdo y el esfuerzo que hubo detrás de la preparación, así fuese un plato sencillo o muy elaborado. Al fin de cuentas, desde cualquier punto en donde lo veas, la comida es arte temporal.

Por cierto, una de mis cosas favoritas en el mundo es usar la wafflera para tostar el pan...al fin de cuentas, ¿quién dice que no puedas usarla para esto?. Visualmente me gustan los pequeños cuadros tostados que quedan impresos en el pan. En fin, sin duda este fue un buen ejercicio creativo para iniciar el día.

A few days ago, I woke up feeling a little more inspired than usual. My creative eye was sharper than normal, so while I was preparing my breakfast, I felt the urge to photograph the simplicity of my food. Plus, it was the perfect excuse to use my new photography setup.

The intense yellow color of the tortilla and the beautiful red of the strawberries, the texture of the slice of bread and how toasted and crispy it looks, the composition of the few elements... playing a little with the psychology of color and texture is like putting together a kind of aesthetic puzzle. Besides, there is something poetic about photographing a plate of food just as it disappears. Immortalizing the perfection of that memory and the effort that went into its preparation, whether it was a simple or a very elaborate dish. After all, from any point of view, food is temporary art.

By the way, one of my favorite things in the world is using the waffle iron to toast bread... after all, who says you can't use it for this? I visually love the little toasted squares that are imprinted on the bread. Anyway, this was definitely a good creative exercise to start the day.
