Hey friends! Wishing you all a fantastic day!

‎Something I want to share with you today was our own DIY version of samgyupsal.

‎Yesterday, my hubby and I craved the savory, sizzling goodness of samgyupsal.

‎Our stomachs grumbled just thinking about the tender pork and fresh vegetables wrapped in crisp lettuce.

‎But to our dismay, our wallets were feeling a bit tight this month.

‎So we decided to create our own DIY version right at home.

‎We first went to the grocery store and picked up some fresh lettuce and crunchy cucumbers.

Back in our kitchen, we prepared a fluffy scrambled egg to add a creamy touch.

And since we didn't have pork belly, we settled for some leftover pork adobo, which we gently reheated until tender.

To dip our creations, we mixed mayonnaise with a splash of ketchup, crafting a simple yet delicious sauce that complemented the savory pork and fresh veggies perfectly.

‎With everything ready, we arranged our makeshift samgyupsal, wrapping each piece in lettuce with a cucumber slice, a bit of scrambled egg, and a piece of pork.

The aroma was tempting, and we couldn't wait to taste our creation.

‎We dip it into the sauce.

We took our first bites, savoring the combination of savory pork, fresh crunch from the cucumber, and the soft, rich scrambled egg.

‎All wrapped in a refreshing lettuce with a tasty dip.

‎This improvised samgyupsal wasn't exactly like the restaurant version, but the effort turned our craving into a homemade feast.

‎This simple, budget-friendly meal became a delightful experience.

‎Until our next delicious bites...

‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 👋🥰
