Pancit Canton Spaghetti: Tastes Like Real Spaghetti

‎Today I want to share something surprisingly delicious that I tried cooking recently. Honestly, I never thought this could be done, but once I found out, I just had to make it.

‎I discovered that you can actually use pancit canton noodles in spaghetti. I had no idea before, and when I learned about it, I got so excited and immediately gathered what I needed and started cooking.

‎So join me while I show you how I made this yummy and very easy meal. ✨

Ingredients:



‎• 120 g Pancit canton noodles
‎• oil from the pancit canton
‎• seasoning powder from the pancit canton
‎• 1 jumbo hotdog
‎• 2 cloves garlic
‎• 1 medium onion
‎• 1/2 cup banana ketchup
‎• 1/2 tablespoon sugar
‎• 1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
‎• 4 cups water
‎• grated cheese

Let's cook!


‎First, I boiled the water in a pot. Then I put all the pancit canton noodles in and cooked them until they were soft but still firm. Once done, I drained the water and set the noodles aside in a clean plate. ✨



‎Next, instead of getting new oil, I used the oil that came inside the pancit canton. I poured it straight into the pan and heated it up. Then I tossed in the garlic and onion, and sautéed them until soft and fragrant.

‎Then I added the sliced hotdogs into the pan. I stirred and cooked them for about 2–3 minutes until they were slightly browned.


‎After that, I poured in the banana ketchup. I also took the seasoning powder from the pancit canton pack and sprinkled all of it right into the sauce. I also added the sugar, a little salt, and black pepper. I stirred everything on low heat for about 5–7 minutes, until the sauce became thick and all the flavors blended. I tasted it and it's just the right mix.


‎Once the sauce was ready, I turned off the heat and carefully poured all of it right over the cooked pancit canton noodles. Then I sprinkled a generous amount of grated cheese all over. I mixed everything until every single strand of noodle was coated in sauce and melted cheese.

‎And charaaaaan... ✨




‎It looked just like regular spaghetti. Even the taste was exactly like the real spaghetti. 🥰 The flavor was sweet and savory, with that extra special taste from the pancit canton seasonings. It was so delicious!

‎Ryzen loved it so much. He enjoyed it that he made sure to get every single strand of pancit canton on his plate, not leaving even one behind! Hahaha…



‎He even ate the portion I prepared for my hubby. Can you imagine that? He just kept eating and eating. 😆

‎This dish is definitely going straight into my regular snack list now. It’s so easy, affordable, and everyone in the house loves it. Perfect when we crave something tasty but simple.
