
Today, I prepared one of the simplest yet surprisingly creamy dishes.
I called it the Sardine Egg Scramble.
You know, an egg can stand alone as a full meal, and sardines can do the same.
But when you combine the two, magic happens.
The flavors merge and the eggs turn everything creamy. 😋
The first time my mother-in-law tasted this, she never looked at sardines the same way again.
Instead of eating them as is, she would always make this creamy scramble.
So join me today as I create this dish that's both tasty and comforting!
Ingredients:
• 1 can of sardines in tomato sauce
• 1 egg
• 1 small onion
• 2 cloves garlic
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Preparation:
The first thing you need to do is heat a little oil in the pan. Then saute onions and garlic.

Once the onions softened and the garlic turned golden, add the sardines. Let it cook for a bit.

Meanwhile, cracked an egg into a bowl, beat it, and poured it over the sardines.


This time, it will turn creamy, so make sure to stir everything together, blending the orange sauce with the egg.

You can also put a little salt and a little pepper, just the right amount to enhance the flavors. Let it cook until the egg is set. Make sure that it's still soft and silky.

And just like that, the dish was done. ☺️

It's so simple, but the taste was satisfying.
You can team it up with steamed rice, or pair it with bread if you want something lighter.
