- Hello everyone, today I will introduce you to a Thai restaurant in a tourist spot in Florence, Italy. Actually, there are many interesting restaurants, but every time I travel, I always look for a Thai restaurant because I am Thai and I miss Thai food very much. This time, my Indian friends had never eaten Thai food before. This was their first time, so they wanted to eat Thai food. So we searched for a Thai restaurant in Florence and found this restaurant. So we agreed to go to this restaurant for dinner that day. This restaurant is called Siam Thai Restaurant.
- After walking around the central tourist area of Florence all day, we felt very tired because that day was the first day that we left home and continued to travel that day. In the evening, we all went back to our accommodation. We met again at around 19 minutes. Our accommodation was quite far from this Thai restaurant. If we walked, it would be tiring. So we looked at how we could get there. We found a tram that seemed to be the closest. So we used the tram, which was very convenient and economical.
- We arrived there and walked in. The waiter came to ask if we had reserved a table. We didn't reserve a table. It turned out that it was full. But luckily, we went before the time they reserved. The restaurant let us sit and eat, but we could sit for a long time. We were lucky.
- After a while, the waiter took us to a table before serving the menu. There were a lot of Thai dishes to choose from. We ordered many dishes and shared them. We wanted our friends to try Thai food. The dishes we ordered were steamed fish with lime, pineapple fried rice, fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls, Thai papaya salad, and tom kha goong.
- We ordered six dishes in total, along with drinks: Chang beer, Thai tea. While waiting for the food, we went to see the atmosphere of the restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in a Thai style with statues, greetings, and various symbols that remind us of Thailand. Almost all the staff in the restaurant are Thai. After waiting for a while, the food we ordered started to be served.
- The appetizers should be fried spring rolls and fresh spring rolls, served with dipping sauce. They looked delicious. The plate was decorated with carrots cut into flower shapes. The taste was quite delicious. We shared the food. The next dish was Thai papaya salad. We ordered it non-spicy because our friends can't eat spicy food. Next was pineapple fried rice. This is also a famous Thai menu. This menu is delicious.
- We shared it. Next up was Tom Kha Goong. Actually, this menu is usually Tom Kha Gai. We asked if we could add shrimp. Some restaurants said it was possible, and this restaurant was the same. The taste of this Tom Kha Goong is delicious, creamy, and fragrant with coconut milk. I like it very much. And the last menu is Steamed Fish with Lime. Actually, I liked this menu very much when I was in Thailand. It must be served with a spicy sauce. The real taste is sour, spicy, salty, spicy, and fragrant with lime. But when the restaurant served it, it was not spicy. The sauce was a bit sweet. But it is understandable because the taste must be made to suit the locals. So all the food was not spicy. But overall, it was delicious.
- We ate very deliciously and had to be on time because the customers who reserved a table would come on time. We ate everything. While eating, I told my friends about the taste of the food in Thailand. Some things were different from Thailand. The real taste was not the same as in Thailand. But our friends really liked this meal because it was their first time. We ordered more desserts, but the restaurant said that the customers who reserved a table were already waiting, so they did not order any more. But it's understandable that it was our mistake not to book in advance. Just this is enough to be full and delicious.
