Chili Oil Fried Rice

Hi bloggers, today I'm going to share a simple and delicious fried rice recipe with an added omelet that makes it extra special. It has a savory and spicy flavor from special ingredients, it's homemade chili oil that I have at home. Okay, let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 spring onion
  • 1/2 onion
  • a handful of dried shrimp
  • cold rice
  • 3 tbsp chili oil
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1/2 grated carrot
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Crack 1 egg, add salt and pepper and beat it, then cook it in a pan.

  • Once cooked, set aside.

  • Chop the spring onion and onion.

  • Heat the vegetable oil, then sauté the onion until golden brown.

  • Add the chopped spring onion and sauté until fragrant.

  • Add the dried shrimp that had been washed.

  • Add the prepared cold rice and stir until well mixed.

  • Add chili oil and stir again.

  • Add sweet soy sauce, light soy sauce, and oyster sauce and stir until mixed.

  • Add carrots and stir again.

  • Add pepper and salt seasoning.

  • Before turning off the heat, add the spring onion pieces again to enhance the aroma, then stir briefly.

  • Turn off the heat and plate as desired.

  • Chili oil fried rice is ready to serve.
