Today I’m going to share a recipe for a sweet, easy-to-make snack that’s chewy and melts in your mouth, it’s called hetteok, a sweet pancake made from yeast dough. Filled with chocolate that melts when baked, it tastes delicious and is fun to eat. Alright, let’s get started
Ingredients:
- 250 grams all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 125 ml whole milk
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 50 grams butter
- a pinch of salt

Instructions:

- Place the medium-protein flour in a bowl

- Add the instant yeast

- Add the granulated sugar

- Mix the dough until well combined





- Add the warmed milk while stirring the dough until it looks like this


- Add the margarine and pinch of salt


- Knead the dough again until well combined

- Let the dough rest for 1 hour

- Take 20 grams of dough and flatten it

- Fill the dough with chocolate filling

- Seal the dough and shape it like this

- Do the same thing until all the dough is used up

- Sprinkle with flour to prevent the dough from sticking

- Melt a little margarine in a pan


- Fry pan the dough until it turns golden brown


Flip the dough until cooked through
Repeat until all the dough is used up


- Sprinkle with cinnamon powder on top to add aroma and a touch of healthy flavor


- Chocolate hetteok is ready to eat
