Hi bloggers and food lovers, happy weekend everyone. Today I'm going to share our traditional food that looks like snow, has a crispy and chewy texture, and is dipped in spicy soy sauce sambal, making it a perfect flavor combination. Okay, let's get started.

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of tapioca flour
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • a pinch of salt
  • 100 ml water

Steps:

  • Put 3 tablespoons of tapioca flour and chopped spring onion into a pan

  • Add garlic powder, salt, and ground pepper

  • Add water to the pan

  • Stir until the mixture is blended

  • Turn on the heat and cook over low heat

  • Stir until the mixture thickens and becomes clear like this

  • Put the hot dough into the remaining tapioca flour in another container

  • Knead the dough in the tapioca until it is blended and can be shaped into balls (this is an important part of making successful cireng)

  • Take the dough and flatten it

  • Fry in hot oil over low heat

  • Cook until puffed and firm

  • Remove and drain

  • For the dipping sauce, chop the chili peppers and add soy sauce

  • Crispy Snow Cireng is ready to eat
