Hi bloggers. Today I want to share what I made as a New Year's appetizer yesterday, I made dim sum again. This time I made three types of dim sum: cheese dim sum, original dim sum, and seaweed dim sum. Eating it with chili oil alone makes it special. Okay, let's get started.
Ingredients:
- 400 grams of chicken thighs
- 300 grams of shrimp
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 spring onion, briefly sautéed
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- Garlic powder
- Chicken bouillon powder
- Ice cubes
- 1 egg white
- 3 tbsp tapioca flour
- Dim sum wrappers
- 1/2 sheet of seaweed
- Grated carrot
- sliced cheese
Steps:
- Make sure all ingredients are clean

- Put the chicken, shrimp, garlic, sautéed spring onion, oyster sauce, pepper, salt, garlic powder, chicken bouillon powder, ice cubes, and egg white into a chopper

- Chop all ingredients until mixed, but not too finely. I prefer it when the meat still has some texture

- Add the tapioca flour and stir until well combined

- Prepare the seaweed and place the dim sum dough on top

Cover the dough and set aside
Prepare the dim sum wrappers and fill with the dough

- Top with grated carrots

- For the cheese topping, place cheese slices on top

- Steam until cooked for 20 minutes

- Serve with chili oil

- The dim sum is ready to eat
