Homemade Pandan Cake

Today I’m going to share a recipe for a homemade cake that’s easy to make and delicious, it has a soft texture and is perfect with a cup of coffee. This recipe for 2 cakes. Okay, let’s get right to it

Ingredients:****

  • 7 eggs
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 250 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 2 packets of vanilla powder
  • melted margarine
  • pandan paste
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 65 ml milk

Instructions:

  • Crack the eggs and add them to a mixing bowl

  • Add the granulated sugar and vanilla powder

  • Add 100 gram of the all-purpose flour and baking powder

  • Turn on the mixer and beat the batter until it turns white and fluffy

  • Once fluffy, reduce the mixer speed and add the remaining all-purpose flour

  • Add the coconut milk and melted margarine to the batter

  • Mix again on the lowest speed until well combined

  • Once well combined, turn off the mixer

  • Add the pandan paste, then mix them

  • Pour the batter into a baking pan that has been greased with margarine and dusted with all-purpose flour

  • Place the pan in the oven and bake at 200°C/392F for 45 minutes

  • Once the cake is done and has risen, turn off the heat and let the pandan cake cool

  • The homemade pandan cake is ready to eat
