
Hi bloggers and food lovers, good evening everyone! Today I’m going to share a crispy and savory snack—one of Indonesia’s signature fried treats that we call martabak mie or crispy noodle pancake. It’s filled with noodles, sausage, onion, and egg, all wrapped in spring roll wrappers. Okay, let’s get right to it!
Ingredients:
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- 2 eggs
- 2 portions of noodles
- 3 sausages
- 1/2 onion
- 1 stalk of scallion
- 4 bird's eye chilies
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 2 tsp chili sauce
- mushroom bouillon powder
- cooking oil
Instructions:


- Boil the noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes

- Drain them


- Sauté the chopped onion and sliced sausages

- Add the chopped scallions and sauté until fragrant

- Add the chopped bird's eye chilies to the pan

- Add the noodles to the pan

- Transfer to a bowl


- Add salt, pepper, oyster sauce, and mushroom bouillon on top

- Crack the eggs and add them to the bowl

- Mix everything until well combined

- Prepare the spring roll wrappers

- Place 1 tbsp of noodles inside each wrapper


- Fold and wrap as shown

- Repeat until all the noodles are used up

- Heat oil in a pan

- Once hot, place the noodle martabak in the pan

Reduce the heat and fry until golden brown and cooked through
Remove and drain




- Martabak Mie (Crispy Noodle Pancake) is ready to eat
