
Hi bloggers and food lovers. Today, still in celebration of Eid Mubarak, I’m going to share a pineapple tart recipe that’s a must-have in our home during Eid. It’s called nastar, a tart filled with pineapple jam. It has a sweet and tangy flavor and a soft texture. Okay, let’s get it right:
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 1 pineapple
- 200 grams sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- vanilla powder
Tart:
- 500 grams butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet vanilla powder
- 1 packet powdered milk
- 100 grams powdered sugar
- 50 grams cornstarch
- 800 grams all-purpose flour
Instructions:
Filling:

- Peel the pineapple and rinse under running water

Grate the pineapple and place it in a saucepan
Add the sugar and cinnamon

- Add vanili powder

Cook until the liquid reduces and thickens into a jam
Let cool and set aside
Tart:

Prepare the butter and place it in a mixing bowl
Crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites

- Add the egg yolks to the bowl

Add powdered sugar and powdered milk
Add cornstarch and vanilla powder



- Mix briefly using a mixer on low speed (just until combined)




- Turn off the mixer and gradually add all-purpose flour until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky

- Take a small portion of the dough and roll it into a ball

- Fill with the prepared pineapple jam

- Seal the dough and shape into round cookies

Place on a baking tray
Repeat until all the dough is used


- Brush with egg yolk mixed with 2 drops of yellow food coloring

- Bake at 302°F or 150°C for 25 minutes




- Let cool and serve
