Stir-Fried Rice Noodles with Fish Meatballs

Hi bloggers and food lovers, today I’m going to share a special stir-fried rice noodle recipe topped with fish meatballs, a generous serving that feeds 7 people. The flavor is spicy, sweet, and savory, and it pairs perfectly with the egg and the seafood toppings and I use fish meatballs as the topping. Let’s get started

Ingredients:

  • 5 sheets of rice noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 10 fish meatballs
  • 1 stalk of green onion
  • 1 stalk of celery
  • ground spices (shallots, garlic, ground chili, candlenuts blended)
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • soy sauce
  • sweet soy sauce
  • oyster sauce
  • cooking oil
  • 50 ml water

Instructions:

  • Prepare the rice noodles by soaking them in cold water for 20 minutes

  • Sauté the ground spices with enough cooking oil in a pan

  • Once fragrant, add the fish balls to the pan

  • Add the seasoning (pepper, salt, soy sauce, and sweet soy sauce) to the pan

  • Stir until well combined

  • Crack 1 egg and add it to the pan

  • Scramble the egg until well combined

  • Add the chopped green onions and celery

  • Add the drained rice noodles

  • Stir the noodles until well combined with the seasonings and sauces

  • Add the water

  • If needed, add more sweet soy sauce to the pan, then stir again until well combined and evenly cooked

  • Remove from heat and serve

  • Fried Rice Noodles with Fish Meatballs are ready to eat
