Tamago Sushi

Hi bloggers and food lovers! Today I’m sharing a recipe for savory and delicious Tamago ( egg ) and sushi rice. It’s a simple, easy-to-make dish perfect for everyday meals. I make this tamago sushi whenever I want to prepare a bento in the morning—it doesn’t require many ingredients and is really easy to make. Let’s get started.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp bouillon powder
  • 25 ml water
  • 200 grams white rice (to taste)
  • 3 tbsp aonori
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • a pinch of salt
  • nori strips
  • cooking oil

Steps:

  • Crack the eggs into a bowl

  • Add salt, pepper, and bouillon powder

  • Whisk the eggs until well combined

  • Add the water and whisk them

  • Prepare a pan

  • Heat a little oil, then pour a small amount of the egg mixture into the pan

  • Roll the omelet

  • Add more of the egg mixture to the pan

  • Wait until it’s half-cooked, then roll it together with the previous omelet

  • Repeat until all the beaten eggs are used up

  • Remove from heat and let cool

  • Slice the rolled eggs thinly and set aside

  • Take the cooked rice

  • Add sesame oil and a pinch of salt

  • Sprinkle aonori on top

  • Mix until everything is well combined

  • Place the rice into a sushi mold

  • Press the rice with the sushi mold

  • Place it on a plate

  • Place the egg slices on top of the rice, then wrap with a long strip of nori

  • Repeat until all the rice is covered with egg and nori

  • The tamago sushi is ready to eat
