Benefits of snail to the body

- And lastly; It’s low in calories.
Recipe needed to prepare pampered snail
- snail : 150g (as much as you want)
- Scotch bonnet Pepper : 50g (roughly blended)
- Onion : 1 medium bulb
- Cooking oil : 1 cup (to fry the snail and for the sauce)
- Salt : 1 tps
- Seasoning cube : 1
- Ginger and garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
- Curry : 1tsp
- Thyme : 1tsp
- Any spice and herbs of choice : 1/4 tsp each
Method of cooking
- Wash the snail thoroughly till it’s completely clean and no longer slippery then set aside.
- Season it with salt and fry till it’s rear done.
- In another sauce pan, add cooking oil of about 1/2 cup
- Sauté half of the onion in the oil
- Add ginger and garlic
- Add the roughly blended scotch bonnet pepper, allow to fry for few minutes
- Add salt and seasoning
- Add all spice and herbs of choice allow to cook for 1 minute
- Pour in the snail and stir till it’s coated and combined with the sauce on low heat
- Allow to steam for few more minutes
- Garnish with the rest of the onions and any vegetable of choice
- Put off heat and enjoy
You can enjoy this sauce with pasta or rice, it is really delicious and mouth watering. Suitable for grown ups and kids.
