Green Beans - Cooking my veggies and feeling fabulous.

Like every parents, My parent too alwsys insisted on eating Green vegetable. Green vegetables are a great source of nutrients and can provide many health benefits. Green vegetables are high in fiber and low in calories, which can help us manage our weight, improving eyesight, bone health etc. Out of so many vegetable, I am fond of eating Green beans, but cooked in our style with some spices. So when I got a chance, this is how cooked it today.

Green beans are considered a green vegetable as they are the immature green pods of the bean plant, typically eaten when they are still tender and green, making them part of the "green vegetable" category. They are also often referred to simply as "french beans" in many regions. When my Dad bought some, I started cooking in my own style. I made use of :

  • Fresh Green beans
  • One Potatoes
  • Green chillies
  • One Onion
  • Half chopped tomatoes.
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry.

French beans are good for human being because they contain many nutrients that can help with a variety of health issues. French beans are rich in calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, which are minerals that help build bone mass and reduce the risk of fractures. They also contain vitamin K, which is important for bone health. I veginnthe cooking process by cutting them into small pieces and boiling them. I added potatoes pieces too to boil.

Boiling helps preserve their bright green color, crisp texture, and flavor while ensuring they cook evenly when added to other dishes. I left them to boil for 5 minutes and then remove all the water. I took 2-3 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and started frying my veggies.

Once they were half fried, I added, Cummins seeds, green chillies, turmeric, Coriander powder and little red chilli powder.

I mix them well and keep stirring it for fee minutes. Once all the material were cooked and masala were fried, I added sliced onion and tomatoes. I have now added, half tablespoon of black pepper.

We will start stirring everything, untill everything is mixed and cooked properly. It will take 15-15 minutes. Our dish is ready to be served .

It is important to have healthy food, and these green beans just provioe all the requied supplement to our body. Our Masala Spicy Beans is ready.
