in Hive Foodyesterday

Hello all Bloggers

Hi guys...! How are you all, I hope you all are well.
Today my in this blog I will share with you guys a new recipe.
Last time I shared the recipe of Homemade Mint Citrus Fizz, I am happy you all liked my recipe and gave me great feedback.
Today I am going to share with you guys the recipe of Dum Pukht Mutton.

Ingredients

  • Mutton ( 600 grams )
  • Potatoes ( 500 grams )
  • Oil ( 1 cup )
  • Lemon ( 3 )
  • Water ( 1 cup )
  • Onion ( 100 grams )
  • Tomato ( 100 grams )
  • Garlic ( 2 bulb )
  • Whole Spice ( Cinnamon & Black cardamom )
  • Salt & Ground Black Pepper ( according to taste )
  • Green Chili's ( 4 to 6 )

Process

Since I have Sundays off from college, I usually make some new recipe on Sundays and share it with you guys.
So, let me quickly tell you how to make this recipe step by step.

So first I washed the mutton and the green spices that were to be used in it thoroughly.
I salted the mutton and kept it for a while so that it could absorb the salt.
Now I poured cooking oil into a pot.

On the Oil, I placed the pieces of mutton that had fat in them, then I placed the potato pieces on top of them.
Then sprinkled salt on the potatoes so that the potatoes would absorb the salt and become salty.
Then I spread the remaining pieces of mutton on top of the potatoes.

Now on it I added roughly chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and lemon slices and in the middle I placed a garlic bulb.

Now add one cup of water to it, add garlic cloves, ground black pepper, cinnamon and black cardamom.

Now I put it on a very low heat for two hours.
After the specified time, when I removed it from the steamer, you can see that all the ingredients have mixed well and it has also become a little broth.
You can use it as a soup if you want, but I dried it on a high heat for about five minutes.

This Dum Pukht Mutton is a true example of patience turning simple ingredients into something extraordinary.
A hearty, wholesome meal that looks absolutely irresistible and worthy of every minute spent preparing it.

Final Look:

Slow-cooked for hours with fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, green chilies, and potatoes, every piece of mutton looks incredibly tender and full of flavor.

The rich gravy, vibrant vegetables, and perfectly cooked mutton create a dish that is both rustic and comforting.

From the careful preparation to the beautiful final presentation, it reflects the warmth of homemade cooking and the depth of traditional desi flavors.

I hope you all like my recipe. I will wait for your comments. Now we will meet in the next post with a new recipe. Until then, Good Bye...🤗
