in Hive Foodyesterday

Hello all Bloggers

Hi guys...! How are you all, I hope you all are well.
Today my in this blog I will share with you guys a new recipe.
Last time I shared the recipe of Potato Pop Snack Balls & Potato Hash Brown Nests, I am happy you all liked my recipe and gave me great feedback.

Today I am going to share with you guys the recipe of Jaggery Milk Rice with Nuts.

Let's see how I made it.

Ingredients

  • Milk ( 1 cup )
  • Rice ( 500 grams )
  • Jaggery ( 450 grams )
  • Oil ( 1 cup )
  • Fennel seeds, Cinnamon ( according to taste )
  • Green cardamom, Salt ( according to taste )
  • Water
  • Nuts

Process

Guys, so far I have shared most of the recipes with you, so today I am going to share a sweet dish with you guys.
So, without wasting time, I will tell you how to make it.

First I put the jaggery in a pot and added a little water to it and put it on the fire.
When it became a syrup, I strained it and put it in a pot.
Now I took water in a pot, to boil the rice.

I added fennel seeds and a piece of cinnamon to this water.
Then I added a little salt and a little cooking oil to it and waited for the water to boil.

I had soaked the rice for two to three hours beforehand.
As soon as the water boiled, I added the rice to it and cooked it.
When it was 70% cooked, I strained the water from it.

Now I added cooking oil in a separate vessel and added green cardamom to it.
When the color of the cardamom turned a little brown, I also added dry fruits to it and fried them for a while.
The dry fruits included coconut strips, raisins, pistachio, and cashew nuts.
Then I added milk to it.

Cook the dry fruits in milk for a while and then add the jaggery syrup to it.
Let the syrup cook until it thickens a little and then add the boiled rice to it.

I mixed the rice well in the syrup and cooked it until the syrup dries up and then put it on the simmer for about 7 to 8 minutes on a low flame.
Now after seven or eight minutes, after removing it from the simmer, this is my jaggery rice which I have taken out on a plate.

A beautifully aromatic dessert where rich jaggery melts into perfectly cooked rice, creating a deep, caramel-like sweetness in every spoonful.
Infused with whole spices and gently simmered in milk, this traditional delicacy offers warmth, comfort, and a luxurious texture.

Final Look:

I have garnished the rice with flaked almonds and grated coconut while serving.
Studded with an assortment of crunchy dry fruits, each bite delivers a delightful contrast of flavors and richness.
Fragrant, wholesome, and indulgent, this festive rice dish is a true celebration of tradition and taste in its most elegant form.

I hope you will definitely try my recipe once.
I will wait for your comments. Now we will meet in the next post with a new recipe. Until then Good Bye...🤗
