Milk-Infused Black Chickpeas with Fresh Greens || Punjabi Methi Palak Channy

Today my in this blog I will share with you guys a new recipe.
Last time I shared Yougrt-Marinated Crispy Desi Chicken recipe, I am happy you all liked my recipe and gave me great feedback. 😍
Today I am going to share with you guys the recipe of Milk-Infused Black Chickpeas with Fresh Greens.

Let's see how I made it.


Ingredients

  • Black Chickpeas ( 300 grams )
  • Spinach & Fenugreek Paste ( 3 cup )
  • Cream ( 1 cup )
  • Milk ( 2 cup )
  • Oil ( 1 cup )
  • Onion ( 50 grams )
  • Spices
  • Green Chillies
  • Tomatoes ( 50 grams )
  • Garlic ( 1 bulb )
  • Potato ( 50 grams )
  • Fresh Coriander

Process

Guys, so far I have shared most of the recipes with you, so today I am going to share a new dish with you guys.
So, without wasting time, I will tell you how to make it.

So I had soaked the black chickpeas a day in advance so that they would soften somewhat, so now I drained the water from the chickpeas and put them in a pressure cooker and then added thickly chopped onions and garlic cloves on top.
Also added salt and chopped potatoes.

Then I added chopped tomatoes and then green chilies.
After that, I added some water and put it on the stove for about 10 minutes.

After removing it from the weight of pressure cooker, you can see that all the things in it have dissolved and the water that was there has also dried up.
So now here I have added a cup of cooking oil to it and then turmeric and ground red chilies to it.

After roasting the spices, I added the spinach and fenugreek paste, which I had already ground, and now I roasted this paste in Chickpeas.

Now I added cream to it and after some time I also added milk to it and cooked it for a while.

So now you can see that a green gravy has been made from the cream, milk, fenugreek and spinach paste.
Now, I finally added hot spices and fresh coriander to it.
My recipe was completely ready. I cooked it in about 25 minutes.


Final Look:

This dish looks beautifully wholesome and comforting.
The blend of Fenugreek,Spinach, and green spices gives it a fresh, earthy aroma, while the milk adds a smooth, creamy richness that balances everything perfectly
