Hey friends, today I have brought you another traditional and spicy food of rural Bengal.A recipe that is incomparable in taste and aroma made with garlic.And this is the shrimp recipe made with garlic.Its main ingredients are garlic and small shrimp.Earlier I shared a traditional and very healthy dish from our rural area, which was black cumin mashed with garlic.
But today I have brought you another traditional dish that is loved by every person in our country and is another very tasty dish.Eating these foods made with garlic will undoubtedly bring a taste to your mouth.Garlic is a very useful spice and it is very healthy.It also works as a medicine and various recipes are prepared with this garlic in rural bengal that make the mouth water.I love recipe made with garlic.
Just as black cumin has been used in our country since ancient times because black cumin makes a great recipe with garlic.Similarly since ancient times and since my childhood, I have been seeing shrimp recipes made with garlic.I mean this would be shrimp mashed made with garlic.As a child I used to watch my mother and grandmothers prepare and eat all these recipes made with garlic whenever they lost their appetite.
So I learned about all these foods from them and I still make them regularly because my future children also like them.However the price of shrimp in the current market has skyrocketed.Even though the price of shrimp is very high now, we try to eat shrimp occasionally.In the 90s, we could easily catch shrimp from the water and there were plenty of them for a small price.At that time, we could easily catch shrimp from ponds or stream.
However, now, the price of shrimp is so high that it is not within everyone's reach.However even though shrimp is very expensive these days, we still can't forget to eat recipes made with it.Yesterday I bought fresh shrimp from the market to make for garlic recipe.The main ingredients here are small shrimp and garlic.Next, you will need green chilies, onions, and coriander leaves.Coriander leaves are mainly used to increase taste.
First I fry the garlic, onion and chili peppers on the stove with oil.When the ingredients turned brown, I added shrimp.Then I added coriander leaves.Then I mixed all the ingredients together to make the shrimp mashed.Here we use our local stoneware/stone pata to make the mashed, which you can see in the video.Making mashed like this is a tradition in our rural bengal.
