As someone who has been a loyal customer of Waroeng Steak & Shake, I feel like I can't just keep quiet without telling you about the restaurant that has become my loyal friend in all my wallet conditions—both at the end of the month full of trials, and on the first of the month full of hope! 😆
The first time I got to know Waroeng Steak was actually unintentional. I was invited by my friend at that time because he said, "Hey, do you know? There's a place to eat delicious steak, lots of them and really cheap too!" Honestly, at that time I was a bit skeptical. Really, delicious steak can be cheap? But... after trying it once, I immediately fell in love.
The chicken meat is crispy and really thick plus crunchy on the outside but the inside is juicy and tender every time it's doused with sauce. Whether it's black pepper sauce or mushroom, it automatically makes your tongue dance... And the hot plate always comes sizzling, the smokey aroma makes your stomach growl even more. In short, it's not just food, but an exciting eating experience!
The portions are also not stingy. There are lots of potatoes, enough vegetables, and if you're like me who really likes to eat, just upgrade to a double portion or add rice. Sometimes I even try other menus like Chicken Steak Saus Mushroom or beef patty, but I always go back to my first love menu: Chicken Double Sirloin. 💘
The strawberry milkshake is great! Thick, cold, and just the right amount of sweetness. But if you want something refreshing, their orange ice really quenches your thirst. Simple but refreshing like Waroeng Steak itself! Don't forget to choose cold mineral water, because I don't want to lose the delicious taste of the Chicken Double Sirloin. 😆
When you're with friends, the atmosphere is like a nostalgic cafe. Laughing, chatting about this and that while waiting for your order to arrive, then when your order arrives? It's immediately quiet... because everyone is focused on eating! 😄
Even when you come alone, it's still comfortable. Sometimes I bring my laptop or a book while eating casually. The staff are friendly and responsive, so it doesn't make you lazy to go back.
Whether you travel around Jakarta from the South, East, West, North, or the city center, there will definitely be a Waroeng Steak that you can visit. My favorite is the one in the Cempaka Putih area, but now I often stop by the one near the office. The taste is consistent and makes me happy.
Waroeng Steak never acts fancy. This place is like an old friend who never changes. Simple, friendly, and always there when needed. Whether you bring your family, friends, girlfriend, or eat alone, it still feels homey. No wonder many people, including me, have been loyal customers for years.
Waroeng Steak & Shake is not just a cheap steak place, it is a place full of memories, comfort, and deliciousness that never fails. It's not an exaggeration if I say: as long as Waroeng Steak still exists, I will not move to another place. 🥹💛
