Hello friends, how are you? I hope you are doing well. This past weekend I had a craving for sushi. I usually eat at an Asian restaurant called Omakase, but this time I wanted to go to another place called Bonsai Sushi, this place is very famous and is a national franchise. Their sushi is very good and the ingredients they use are of very good quality. Well, there is a reason why they have been open for so many years. This place is located in the Sambil shopping center on Margarita Island. The only thing I don't like is that this mall is one of the few, "if not the only one" that does not allow my pet Luna to enter, this is a point against me since I take her everywhere I go, as I have told you in other opportunities, Luna suffers from something called "emotional attachment", so I should not leave her alone at home for her health (at least until I dedicate myself to train her). This time, it was an exception because my family is at home and I can leave her with them.
In this place I could not find sushi without rice, because as I have told you before I am not eating flours since I am on a Keto lifestyle, so if I am going to eat sushi it must be without rice or eat a poke that I can put together to my liking and without rice and in this case, that is what I did. I ordered a poke with edamame, avocado, wakame, kanikama, tuna, salmon and scallion. By my mistake, I didn't ask them to take out the cucumber, I really don't like cucumber, but thank goodness it wasn't a problem to take it out and I was able to continue eating my plate without any problem. The plate had pineapple, but since I can't eat it, I took it out and gave it to @lifeblue and the base of the poke I asked for with lettuce and I swallowed a spicy sauce that I loved.
I must confess, I really enjoyed my dish and although I really like the poke I eat at Omakase, I liked this one the best. I think one of the reasons is because this dish had salmon and tuna, while at Omakase they don't work with salmon. Also at Omakase they don't use edamame either and I really like that vegetable.
Regarding the place, I really liked its decoration, we sat in a cubicle that was quite cozy and with a nice design. In general, this place is very nice, the service was good although the one who served me I think he was in a bit of a hurry because he wanted to leave, but he served me very well anyway.
After a while @sugarelys arrived and accompanied us to eat and then from there we went to Olé to drink mojitos and have a fun Saturday, as always!
If you are on the island and want to eat sushi and even more if you already know this franchise, you can come to eat at the Sambil mall, it really is very tasty.

Hola amigos, como están? Espero se encuentre muy bien. Este fin de semana pasado tuve antojo de sushi. Yo suelo comer en un restaurante de comida asiática llamado Omakase, pero esta vez quise irme a otro sitio llamado Bonsai Sushi, este sitio es muy famoso y es una franquicia a nivel nacional. Sus sushis son muy buenos y los ingredientes que usan son de muy buena calidad. Bueno, por algo se han mantenido abiertos a lo largo de tantos años. Este lugar, queda en el centro comercial Sambil, en la Isla de Margarita. Lo único que no me agrada, es que este centro comercial es uno de los pocos, "por no decir el único" que no permiten dejar entrar a mi mascota Luna, este es un punto en contra ya que yo me la llevo a ella para todos los lados que voy, ya que como les he comentado en otras oportunidades, Luna sufre de algo llamado “apego emocional”, por lo que no debo dejarla sola en casa por su salud (al menos hasta que me dedique a entrenarla). Esta vez, fue una excepción porque está mi familia en casa y la puedo dejar con ellas.
En este lugar no pude encontrar sushi sin arroz, porque como les he comentado anteriormente no estoy comiendo harinas ya que estoy en un estilo de vida Keto, por lo que si voy a comer sushi debe ser sin arroz o comer un poke que puedo armarlo a mi gusto y sin arroz y en este caso, eso fue lo que hice. Pedí un poke con edamame, aguacate, wakame, kanikama, atún, salmón y cebollín. Por error mío, no pedí que me sacaran el pepino, la verdad no me gusta nada el pepino, pero menos mal que no fue un problema sacarlo y pude continuar comiéndome mi plato sin problema. El plato, traía piña, pero como no la puedo comer, se la saqué y se la di a @lifeblue y la base del poke la pedí con lechuga y me trago una salsa picante que me encantó.
Debo confesar, que disfruté muchísimo mi plato y que aunque me gusta mucho el poke que como en Omakase, este me gustó más. Creo que una de las razones es porque este plato trajo salmón y atún, en cambio en Omakase no trabajan con salmón. Además en Omakase tampoco utilizan edamame y a mí me gusta mucho ese vegetal.
Con respecto al lugar, me gustó mucho su decoración, nos sentamos en un cubículo que era bastante acogedor y con un bonito diseño. En general, este lugar es muy bonito, la atención fue buena aunque el que me atendió creo que estaba un poco apurado porque se quería ir, pero de igual forma me atendió muy bien.
Al rato llegó @sugarelys y nos acompañó a comer y luego de ahí nos fuimos a Olé a beber mojitos y tener un sábado divertido, como siempre!
Si estás en la isla y quieres comer sushi y mucho más si ya conoces esta franquicia, puedes venir a comer en el centro comercial Sambil, realmente es my rico.
