I can't blame him or anyone who hops over to take a huge payday boxing. UFC pay is pretty terrible honestly.

        most of the ex fighters and even guys who made it to the big time in that they were top-10 at some point say that going into MMA is a bad idea for one's future. For every McGregor that rakes in tens of millions, there are a couple hundred people who struggle to even pay their bills. So yeah, I can understand why people would jump at this opportunity because it likely isn't going to last for very long.
