Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, es un placer para mí estar nuevamente en la gran tarima de Open Mic, compartiendo con ustedes todas estas temáticas interesantes que nos conectan con la música. El tema para esta semana es “Let's Defeat The Distance” y creo que es muy hermoso cantar sobre esto, ya que la música por sí misma es una herramienta para romper las distancias. Lo vemos cada día en Hive, como la música nos une sin importar la distancia física, cultural o ideológica que tengamos.
Por eso he querido compartir con ustedes una canción extraordinaria, estoy hablando de “La muralla” una canción grabada por la agrupación chilena de música folclórica Quilapayun en 1969. La letra pertenece a un poema del escritor cubano Nicolás Guillén. Creo que esta es una obra magistral, habla de la belleza de unirnos, de acabar con todo lo que nos separa como humanidad y crear juntos, con nuestras manos, una muralla capaz de alejar toda la oscuridad y maldad de un sistema corrupto y asesino.
Esta canción habla sobre la hermandad, sobre el reencuentro y quiero regalarse a todos los que cada semana nutren esta hermosa comunidad musical con su talento y sus entradas maravillosas. Espero les guste, tras cámara y en el Cuatro venezolano mi querida @aly.squid acompañándome como siempre.

Loving greetings to all my Hive friends, it's a pleasure for me to be back on the big Open Mic stage, sharing with you all these interesting topics that connect us with music. The theme for this week is "Let's Defeat The Distance" and I think it is very beautiful to sing about this, as music itself is a tool to break distances.
