CORNED BEEF?
here,in New England, brown eggs are local and from fresh farms nearby
White means a big factory farm, less fresh. Usually raised with methods less healthy

Sort:

Pastrami and darn tasty it was too.
I was curious about the colour as a kid on a farm we had white eggs and then I remember the chickens were white. So I googled a bit and the egg colour is to do with the chicken breed. Brown feathers gives brown eggs and white feathers gives white eggs.
Both sides of the Atlantic sites said the same thing. We used to have white eggs in Florida and I was all chuffed as they were my favourite.
I was wondering if organic/free range/ barn or battery hens were the answer, but yes seems the colour of the feather!

we have a friend nearby who gives us eggs from her hens. In a six pack of eggs, usually at least one blue one as well. speckled, all brown,, and blue. none of her hens give white eggs
