Meeting up with friends from school days of the early 1970s kept me beyond busy. A good kind of busy. And yes, those school days were a long time ago.
One friend from the Netherlands was visiting her family and spent two nights at my new home.
It was good. We visited some touristy spots, as she wanted to take real South African goodies back home; we walked and spoke a lot!
We both lost our partners under very similar circumstances, and spoke of how one doesn't realize how precious and just how short life is.
We all need to savour each moment together.
We also met up with other friends from school days. It was a very special time. One meet-up meant a long trip, but we did it and were very happy that we did not let the distance stop us!
Funny how the years in between just disappear when old friends get together. Talking about the things we got up to during our school days had us in stitches.

Despite Hive going through an icy winter bear market, I am still powering up. Being here for the long run, I will keep on growing my account and stay in HODL'ing mode for as long as I am able. I've powered up 500 Hive to take me up another thousand HP, my monthly goal, which I hope to improve, as I do have more time on hand and have fully recovered from the nasty bronchitis
One month done and dusted! I keep on saying it, but time honestly seems to be moving faster!
