We don't need to follow a religion to live to it's highest truth, because when love meets awareness, humanity heals. So even though Christmas is not one of our religious function, we respect the spirit of celebration of love, as the underneath principle of every religion remains same : When love leads the way, fear disappears, when awareness leads the way, suffering dissolves. The world will be always noisy, people will not stop hurting, but we need to let go even if our mind resists and clearly see the truth, even if its uncomfortable. The world outside may not change, but we need to be consciously kind, forgive and love without any conditions and not bother about the distant cries of this restless world. Happiness is all about being here and enjoy every moment in joy and for us, the holiday season is all about enjoying with family and friends, near and dears, that will bring us more positivity to be stronger and patient to deal with all the challenges that comes our way.

To fulfill the kid's wishes, we took them to our nearest shopping mall, as our daughter had a long outstanding demand to buy a leather jacket since last two years. We don't have many stores selling leather jacket (as they are quite expensive), so even though this was a big place with so many branded shops, she found out her choice of jacket only at two places.

My daughter's choice is almost similar to mine - simple and elegant, so she did not like this one.

And even though I said yes, she was equally concerned about the budget and wanted me to spend less, which made me feel that these kids are becoming more responsible.

And finally she got what she wanted - black, simple, elegant and within budget.

She was so excited and happy to finally have her wish fulfilled on the eve of Christmas - does it look good on her ? WE all helped her to choose her jacket and these family moments will be cherished for a long time. Usually my trick is to try out and click photos of all the outfits and then let her decide by seeing them.

And the boy is always behind cost effective purchase safeguarding our spend, so to match for some extra discount, I also picked few merchandise for me, for the upcoming New year.

And this Christmas decoration is very special, made in wool using over 300 granny squares, intricately crocheted over three months by the lady's friend and her group, with hundreds of hours of loving effort, celebrating beauty and value of handmade art. It was a nice gesture to meet her friend and her team as well.

And a good day cannot go without good food, so the kids decided to try out some continental food at Chili's.

Even though we prefer conventional food, we enjoyed the continental food as a special family time.

Just before coming back, the boy reminded me to buy some foot wear because he had a discount coupon to utilize - I am glad to see the way he manages the finance utilizing every penny to its fullest, bless him for success.
