Hello Hello Hivians and Hivers
The last Sunday in October is here and Guy Fawkes night is just around the corner. It's my favourite part of Autumn, big bonfires and hot sausages, what a combination!!
Storm Benjamin was in England this week, whilst we in Scotland had beautiful weather!
So yesterday I decided we would go for a wee stroll to the lake and around a small part of it.
But the weather was so nice I decided to fluff it and try to walk completely around it. Not particularly easy as there is not really a trail on the other side.
And so the wee trip which started walking from left to right around the lake became a fluffing hike trough mud water and a Scottish jungle lol!
We made to the meadow on the other side of the lake.
But how the hell do you get through lot 🤣
It was a blast and of course there a gazillion pictures of nature putting on a gorgeous free show!
We came back into town via a different route out of the woods and saw this Burghy's burger joint!
After five hours hiking these old bones decide a beer and a burger would be a great reward!
I cannot recommend the crispy Burghy's special enough, they had gorgeous crispy bacon, 100% smashed beef burgers, cheese and their delicious sauce, the fires were fluffing hot!
As got the crispy meal deal, it included one of their donuts!
The universe works in mysterious ways, yesterday I posted Cronot or Donut? and here we were getting another tasty treat. Whilst they were not cronuts, they had a dark chocolate sauce injected into the one on the right and salted caramel into the one on the left, not a lot but enough to make it even more delicious than it looked!
Dinner done and I checked my emails!

I used to do a People's Postcode lottery here for a few years and only ever won books. So last year I scrapped my subscription and start playing our new local town lottery.
What do you know!
I won £250 or about $333
That just topped off a fluffing awesome day!
As the old saying goes .... You make your own luck!
