Inevitable no remontarse a los momentos de infancia celebrando estas fechas navideñas, con la familia, amigos, la música, los aromas, o por lo menos era la sensación de nostalgia que sentía en esta fecha de noche buena.
A Jhoan le toco trabajar ese día y retornaba a casa como a las 11:00 pm, así que sería una noche diferente porque estamos acostumbrados a cenar juntos en esta fecha importante, así que coordinamos llevar a las niñas como de costumbre a casa de sus abuelos para que compartieran un rato con ellos y también con su primo más pequeño, cenaríamos y esperaríamos a que llegara su papá para recibir sus regalos.
Todos los años ellas reciben al niño Jesús en el arbolito de su abuela, pero esta vez quisimos hacer algo diferente, además de que pudimos comprar nuestro arbolito, siiii es pequeñito, pero lo amamos mucho, es un logro para nosotros como familia, nos sentimos orgullosos de ello y queremos presumirlo en todas las fotos.
Inevitable not to go back to childhood moments celebrating Christmas, with family, friends, music, aromas, or at least that was the feeling of nostalgia that I felt on this date of Christmas Eve.
Jhoan had to work that day and was returning home around 11:00 pm, so it would be a different night because we are used to have dinner together on this important date, so we coordinated to take the girls as usual to their grandparents' house to share some time with them and also with their younger cousin, we would have dinner and wait for their dad to arrive to receive their gifts.
Every year they receive the baby Jesus in their grandmother's tree, but this time we wanted to do something different, plus we were able to buy our own tree, yes it is tiny, but we love it very much, it is an achievement for us as a family, we are proud of it and we want to show it off in all the pictures.
Estuvimos un rato en casa de los abuelos de las niñas, cenamos allí y luego nos fuimos a la casa en la cual tenía una sorpresa… ¡Una cena especialmente para nosotros! Ver la cara de sorpresa de Jhoan no tenía precio jajajaja él pensó que se perdería el compartir con nosotros por lo cual decidí hacerle esta comida para que juntos disfrutáramos en esta fecha especial, ¡tuve que sacrificarme y comer más! (Sarcasmo)
Mientras tanto llego el niño Jesús y abrimos los regalos para las niñas, ellas estaban muy emocionadas con todos los presentes que Santa es trajo, incluida la tan pedida bicicleta de mi hija Esther, que fue la mejor parte el ver como saltaba de emoción incluida la más pequeña ella no sabía qué ocurría, pero igual saltaba de alegría fue muy gracioso.
Para nuestra cena hice pollo horneado, ensalada de gallina, una torta de frutos secos, unos shots de leche y galletas y acompañamos con pan de molde y gaseosa, todo muy rico, y disfrutamos esta bendición de tener la mesa llena de cosas que nos gustan.
We spent some time at the girls' grandparents' house, we had dinner there and then we went to the house where I had a surprise... A dinner especially for us! Seeing Jhoan's surprised face was priceless hahahaha he thought he would miss sharing with us so I decided to make him this meal so we could enjoy together on this special date, I had to sacrifice myself and eat more! (Sarcasm)
Meanwhile the baby Jesus arrived and we opened the gifts for the girls, they were very excited with all the presents that Santa brought, including the much requested bike for my daughter Esther, which was the best part to see how she jumped with excitement including the smallest one she didn't know what was going on, but she still jumped with joy it was very funny.
For our dinner I made baked chicken, chicken salad, a nut cake, some milk shots and cookies and we accompanied with sliced bread and soda, all very tasty, and we enjoyed this blessing of having the table full of things we like.

Para llevar donde mi suegra realice esta torta de pasas y frutos macerados, también esta bonita ensalada que me gusto decorarla como si fuese una corona de navidad, pienso que quedo muy bonita y a todos en la casa les gusto, además lleve unos shots de leche y galleta los cuales devoraron jajajaja quiere decir que les gusto.
Pienso que todo esto es parte de poder disfrutar estas fechas que nos incitan y motivan a poder disfrutar de la familia, de que podamos demostrar ese afecto que quizás por el día a día dejamos de lado y nos sumergimos en nuestros propios afanes y nos olvidamos de esa persona que tenemos al lado, creo que ese es el sentido de estas fechas poder celebrar la unión familiar y el amor entre nosotros para fortalecer los lazos de hermandad, por cierto me toco hacer la oración de agradecimiento y esas fueron algunas de las palabras que dije esa noche.
Espero que les guste mi publicación y como siempre es un gusto poder abrirles las puertas de mi casa y mi familia y poder hacerlos parte de esas vivencias.

To take to my mother in law I made this raisin and macerated fruit cake, also this nice salad that I liked to decorate it as if it were a Christmas wreath, I think it was very nice and everyone in the house liked it, I also took some milk and cookie shots which they devoured hahahaha means that they liked it.
I think all this is part of being able to enjoy these dates that encourage and motivate us to enjoy the family, that we can show that affection that perhaps for the day to day we put aside and we immerse ourselves in our own concerns and we forget that person we have next to us, I think that is the meaning of these dates to celebrate family unity and love among us to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, by the way I had to do the prayer of thanks and those were some of the words I said that night.
