El fin de semana nos reunimos con dos amigos en mi casa, bueno realmente es un músico amigo de mi marido y su mujer, son una pareja encantadora que, al igual que nosotros, él dejó Venezuela y ella Colombia, ahora viven en Pontevedra a 20 minutos de Vigo. Aunque hemos compartido muchos cafés y comidas juntos, esta vez había un motivo especial para nuestro encuentro, y es que James después que le hablé de Hive le interesó crear una cuenta.
James es músico de profesión igual que mi marido, y aunque a veces la necesidad le obliga a dedicarse a otros oficios, es la pasión por la música lo que más le gusta compartir.
Una reunión con sabor a hogar
Para nosotros algo que no puede faltar en una reunión de amigos es un buen plato de comida. Así que en esta ocasión preparé unas lentejas con tocino ahumado, chorizos, carne y algunas verduras, a mi me gustan mucho las lentejas y siempre las hago muy sencillas pero aquí en España he aprendido una nueva receta con las verduras propias de esta región, a mi esposo le encanta la nueva receta y los invitados también quedaron encantados con el sabor. 👍

Pero lo mejor llegó al final. Preparé una tarta de taza hecha en el microondas. No sé ustedes, pero yo soy fanática de los postres fáciles, rápidos y sanos. Es una tarta de avena y cacao en polvo, con nueces y la cubrí con una mezcla de yogurt griego y queso crema. ¡Quedó muy buena aunque no se vea muy bien en la foto, creo que tengo que compartir la receta en un próximo post!
But the best part came at the end. I prepared a mug cake made in the microwave. I don't know about you, but I'm a fan of easy, quick and healthy desserts. It's an oatmeal and cocoa powder cake, with nuts and I topped it with a Greek yogurt and cream cheese mixture. It turned out really good even though it doesn't look very good in the picture, I think I have to share the recipe in a future post!
