[ESP-ING] Celebrating a birthday with friends

Giving us a break with friends is something I love and how much I missed it because these days have been hard and exhausting, being a nurse at home, a housewife, working and doing all the things my husband used to do and now he can't for a while, it has been hard, but not impossible, so this birthday was a perfect fit for me.

We had two weeks planning this birthday to see what we would do, we had two places we were going to visit and take our cake to surprise our friend, her birthday was 15 days ago but as always we celebrate our birthdays a few days later, so that each one celebrates her birthday first with her family and then we can all share together.

A friend and his wife opened a place near our house, he is a common friend of all of us so we decided to go to their place to support them and get to know their place and take advantage of there to sing birthdays, eat a little and share some quality time together.

The place is very nice inside but we decided to eat outside since it was cooler, so I did not take pictures inside the place, we ordered some beef burgers that come with fries, when the order arrived I was surprised how big the burger was, and what caught my attention was that it came with pineapple, I had never tried a hamburger with pineapple, it did not taste bad, but it is not one of my favorite burgers, yes it was good but I have tried better to tell you the truth.

We ate everything and we were full, even my friend did not imagine that we had a surprise cake, so we finished eating and then came the cake, my friend was happy and surprised, we sang birthday, and at the end we lit the candle, because the breeze did not let us light it and blew it out all the time, but we managed and she was able to blow the candle at the end.

The cake was delicious, it was a kind of brownie with magnum topping, very delicious, I only ate a.little bit since I was full of the hamburger, we all stayed like this, we were remembering things from when we met and how time has passed and we have changed and the friendship strengthened, how good it is to share with friendships, it is a respite and a restart for my life. We had an excellent time 👌.

Darnos un respiro con las amistades es algo que me encanta y cuanta falta de hacia ya que estos días han sido fuertes y agotadores esto de ser enfermera en casa, ama de casa, trabajar y hacer todas las cosas que mi esposo hacía y que ahora no puede por un tiempo ha estado duro, pero no imposible, así que este día de cumpleaños me cayo como anillo al dedo.

Teníamos dos semanas planeando este cumpleaños a ver que haríamos, teníamos dos lugares a los que íbamos a visitar y llevar nuestra torta para sorprender a nuestra amiga, su cumpleaños fue hace 15 días pero como siempre nos celebramos los cumpleaños unos días después, para que cada quien célebre su cumpleaños primero con su familia y luego nosotras poder compartir todas juntas.

Un amigo y su esposa abrieron un local cerca de la casa, es un amigo en común de todas así que decidimos ir al lugar de ellos para así apoyarlos y conocer su local y aprovechar de allí cantar cumpleaños, comer un poco y poder compartir un tiempo de calidad.

El lugar está muy lindo por dentro pero decidimos comer afuera ya que estaba más fresco, así que no tome fotos dentro del lugar, pedimos unas hamburguesas de carne que vienen con papas fritas, al llegar la orden me sorprendió lo grande de la hamburguesa, y lo que más llamó mi atención es que venía con piña, nunca había probado una hamburguesa con piña, es no sabia mal, pero no es de mis hamburguesas preferidas, si estaba buena pero he probado mejores a decir verdad.

Comimos todo y quedamos full, aun mi amiga no se imaginaba que le teníamos una torta sorpresa, así que terminamos de comer y luego vino la torta, mi amiga se puso feliz y se sorprendió, cantamos cumpleaños, y al final prendimos la vela, porque la brisa no nos dejaba prenderla y la apagaba a cada rato, pero se logró y ella pudo soplar la vela al final.

La torta estaba deliciosa, era una especie de brownie con cubierta de mágnum, muy deliciosa, solo comí un.poco ya que estaba llena de la hamburguesa, todas quedamos así, estábamos recordando cosas de cuando nos conocimos y como ha pasado el tiempo y hemos cambiado y la amistad fortalecida, que bueno es compartir con las amistades, es un respiro y un reinicio para mi vida. La pasamos excelente 👌.
