Food is very essential to humans, it's for both growth and survival and I don't think I've come across anyone who doesn't like food, or don't you?
Well for me, I would say I love delicious meals and I also love to try new recipes, cause life is full of varieties.
In my country, we have a lot of different food but due to the high rate of food stuffs many people have been forced to eat only a few of the many kind of foods we have. The ritual in most African homes on Sunday is Rice and stew, or anything rice, either fried or jollof.
It gets to a point that eating such becomes tiring because one has consumed a lot of it and craves something different.
Let's say for instance, I love to eat beans, I would love to cosume my beans in a variety of ways like, beans pudding, bakes beans, porrige, beans and rice and so on so that it doesn't get tiring.
However I am also open to trying out something new whenever I have the chance too, but there are some certain foods I am also allergic to, i don't know if it's just me and I have tried my best to get used to taking such foods but whenever I do, I either throw up or have a stomach upset so I try my best to stay clear from such food.
This has made it so hard for me to eat outside my home, I prefer to enjoy my home made food as I know the ingredients used in preparing such a meal but on few occasions I eat out with friends.
The other day i and my friend visited a Chinese restaurant and we decided to try a Chinese food, the frozen rolls , corn dogs and sauce.
She convinced me to try it out since she knew how much I love to enjoy new recipes or have a taste of different food, so I agreed and we had fun.
That was my first time trying such food, at first it was not enticing to look at but as soon as it hits on my taste bud I began to enjoy it. The sauce isn't peppery at all and the frozen rolls and corn dogs are very yummy.
Since she's from Asia, she told me the recipe involved in making this snack, it includes sausage or cheese, or both if one desires and then a little sugar, with yellow mustard and a little salt. Maybe I've forgotten all the recipe she mentioned but these are the ones I can remember.
As for the sauce, the recipe includes chilli pepper, salt, cold asian salad, and soybeans and maybe a few recipe I have missed too but that's what I could remember.
This is a very different food from the regular food I've eaten so far but I would rate it a 8/10 and I think I love and would like to try more Asian food haha.
