Hey lovelies ❤️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog 🤗

In this post I will share with you how I made some chilled watermelon and pineapple smoothie. The weather has been hot lately and it makes one feel very dehydrated. It only get a little better in the early hours of the morning before the sun comes out. I felt the real effects of the hot scorching weather sometimes last week when my solar went off in the middle of the night. This means I had to sleep without fan. The heat was crazy. In seasons like this, what is always on the top of my list is something cold and of course refreshing. That's where a chilled glass of freshly blended fruits of choice becomes a lifesaver for me and my family. The energising effects of these drinks can't be overemphasised. I try as much as possible to cut out carbonated drinks from my diet as I have abused it so much in the past.
A cup of smoothie is filled with nourishment from natural sweetness unlike carbonated drinks or packed juices that have been mixed with artificial sweeteners and preservatives. When fresh fruits, whether apple, pawpaw, watermelon, cucumber etc are blended, all the natural vitamins, fibers and so on are still kept in place. Your body is being nourished with vitamin c and natural healthy sugar that gives you energy.
Ingredients
1 full big watermelon

1 full pineapple

Ice

Step by Step
Start by washing the watermelon and pineapple thoroughly before cutting.

Cut the watermelon into small sizes, then remove the green skin and cut the red part into small blendable sizes.

Do the same for the pineapple by removing the skin and cut the flesh into small chunks that is easy to blend.

- Next; blend the watermelon first by adding it into the blender and blend until it is smooth. Your blender should be filled with a reddish juice.

Carefully pour it out into a jug it clean bowl.
- Next, blend the Pineapple until smooth as well.

Then mix the two together using the blender and add some ice to it as you blend.

Serve and enjoy your drink.
Thanks for reading and see you in my next one.
