Good afternoon my fellow hive naijans. Its my pleasure to write on this platform again this week. Many thanks to @hivenaija. I'm grateful for the great opportunity for us Nigerians to be writing our experiences about different prompts.
Omo eh this weeks prompts sweet ooo and I'm so happy to be writing on them. Today I'll be sharing with us wetin I think I fit carry cool the mind of aliens if they invade my country or home.
Firstly, I'll talk about aliens and why they may want to invade the earth. As we commonly imagine them in our culture, I will say aliens are intelligent, technologically advanced beings from another planet. There could be a lot of reasons aliens would want to invade Earth.
They could be seeking natural resources, such as water or minerals, because things like this are scarce on their own planet, or they could simply be curious about our world. It could also be that they could be fleeing some sort of disaster on their home planet, and Earth is the closest habitable option. In any case, the reasons behind an alien invasion would likely be complex and beyond our current understanding.
The aliens could be visiting Earth with unknown intentions, and if it is up to me to find a way to communicate with them and convince them that humanity is worth saving. Omo eh, no be lie but its going to be a task that could really be daunting but one that I would have to take on with creativity and plenty of courage.
In the face of an alien invasion, I would prepare a dish that showcases the best of human creativity and originality: a dish that reflects my culinary heritage and my ability to transform ordinary ingredients into something extraordinary. And I think that the perfect dish for that will be the popular soup of the efik and ibibio tribe of Nigeria called Afang soup served with freshly prepared casava flour called fufu by the locals.
Afang soup is a soup prepared with neatly sliced and grounded agang leaves and a leafy vegetable called waterleaf. Everyone can testify that this particular dish de give, e de represent. Especially that prepared by a typical ibibio woman which I am. It will just blow their mind and make them forget their mission.

What is special about it to save humanity is that it is a very nutritious meal. It's part of our cultural identity which will make them see reasons why they should not destroy wonderful people with wonderful cultural heritage and food☺️. Its very delicious and easy to whip(you fit run am fast fast)and it has nutritional health benefits and e no get how you go chop this food wey you no go get satisfying feeling.
The dish would be served with a side of history and culture, explaining the significance of the dish to the region, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large. The hope is that by sharing this cultural treasure, we would be able to find common ground with the aliens and prevent them from invading.
