Greetings 🙌
Occasionally, I see rats in my house. The means by which they get in remains a mystery because everywhere in my house is securely closed. After much wondering about how the rat gets into my house, I concluded that maybe it’s during the moments I’m opening my door, either to get in or out, that the rat targets me and rushes in during the seconds I keep the "springed door" open. For rats to be so timely like that means they’re not just ordinary; maybe they have a little portion of a human brain in them, or maybe they’re typical witches.
Two weeks ago, while sleeping, I heard the noise of something running around. I thought it was a cockroach, so I got up, picked up a broom to kill it, and the noise went silent. After a few minutes, I realized it was a rat. I didn’t bother to ask myself how it got inside. The last time I saw a rat in my house was in September last year, so it did me well to have it appear again after 10 months. I just went to sleep with the mindset of getting rat poison the following morning to set for it.
Morning came, and I bought rat poison from hawkers. I didn’t have any fish in my house, but there was a nylon bag containing beans on the table, which I saw that the rat had torn into and eaten from the previous night. I decided to keep the beans there and apply the rat poison on it since it had eaten from it last night. There was every possibility it would come around to eat again at night.
Look at what I did:
I didn’t touch the beans; I only sprinkled the rat poison on the part the rat had torn. I should have brought out some of the beans and dropped them on the table, but hurriedness didn’t get me to do that.
The following day, I woke up and the first thing I did was check the beans to see whether the rat had come to eat them. Oh yeah, I saw more beans brought out from the nylon, which meant the rat had come and eaten. I opened the nylon bag only to see some beans with the black rat poison on them. This meant that the rat had pushed some of the poisoned ones inside and mixed them with the beans that weren’t poisoned.
“Haaaa! How do I select the poisoned ones out in a way that they don’t mix too much with the clean ones?” I pondered for a few minutes and concluded that I should carefully pick them out one by one to avoid mixing them more with the clean ones.
As I tried to shift the nylon bag to start selecting, electricity came(Up NEPA!) and, in my rush to plug in my almost dead phone, my hand shook the nylon bag and everything mixed together.
There’s no way I would let my beans go like that, so I poured everything into a tray, blew off the dust, and did a little washing with water, which removed the black poison a little. But I was sure some had gotten inside the beans already(danger). After that, I dried them under the sun.
The first day I cooked the beans, I first dropped my Google Drive email and password in my brother’s WhatsApp DM. He asked me what it was for, and I ignored him. After eating and realizing nothing had happened to me the next day, I went to his DM to tell him it was a mistake.
Oh, he didn’t understand why I sent it to him, and I didn’t explain to avoid unnecessary mockery. Lol
You didn't understand why I sent my login details to him?
O.Y.O 😏
