Have you ever come across the phrase
You are what you eat?
Well, I have many time and the truth is, I do believe such a statement, and this has allowed me to form an eating habit and determine what I allow into my system. I am part of the people who believe in "Quality over quantity."
I see no logical reason to eat so much food that won't help my health. I am not a fan of eating anything; I am big on the kind of ingredient used in preparing a food and I also love my food to look good and eat nice, not just taste nice, and also add some benefits to my health.
I always tell people that the food we eat is like medicine to our bodies, so if we use the wrong drugs, it always has consequences.
Anytime I am preparing my food, I always make sure to use good ingredients that will be beneficial to my health. Making my stew, I always make sure I use ginger, garlic, veggies, and other ingredients that will make me feel healthy.
The good part about me is that I am not a big eater. I eat little and I am always satisfied.
What are my eating habit like?
I always make sure to eat thrice a day but when I am eating, I don't eat like I am not going to eat again. After having my breakfast in the morning, which is mostly around the time of 8 am to 9 am, I then take snacks for lunch. Most of these snacks are made with flour, like sausage rolls, meat pies, and other flour snacks, and then I have a cup of juice with it.
I won't be able to eat anything again after this until dinnertime; I mostly eat my dinner at the hour of 7 pm or 8pm at most. I always make sure I eat something good for dinner; sometimes I order food from a renowned restaurant that prepares their food well.
Eating well is something I love; I don't prefer quantity; I prefer quality of the food.
Currently, the economic state of the country is so bad that people opt in for quantity over quality but no matter how bad it is, I always go for quality. I may not have much but I always make the most of what I have.
