Today is my eldest son's day off every month, we will have lunch together once a month or more depending on the occasion. Today, we have a buffet lunch that my son likes but on the way to the buffet restaurant, we stumbled upon "Haidilao Hot Pot", a famous Chinese hot pot restaurant that just opened not long ago. So, we decided to try a Chinese hot pot to see if it tasted good. Also, we often eat Shabu buffet, so it would be nice to try something new. After making up our minds, we immediately followed the staff into the restaurant.

This is a very large restaurant with many tables, each with a partition for privacy. The staff will advise us which zone the desserts are in and which zone the dipping sauces are in, which can be eaten as much as you want. However, the food here is sold as a set, not a buffet. We chose a table not far from the dipping sauce zone.

When we were seated, the staff came to take our order we ordered the biggest set called the "Family Set". Then the staff brought us aprons to wear to prevent food, soup, or sauce from dripping on our clothes because the food has a dark color and might be difficult to clean. We received aprons to put on immediately.

Soon, the staff brought a large square soup pot to the center of the table, which had a space for the soup pot, and then turned on the fire to boil the soup. There were 4 types of soup in total, and we ordered all 4 types. The soup was Sichuan Chinese soup, including the spicy Mala soup, tomato soup, mushroom soup, and pickled cabbage soup.

Then the staff gradually served the food, including sliced ​​lamb, sliced ​​wagyu beef, and sliced ​​pork, which were the main dishes. There were many vegetables for boiling and frying. There were 2 dishes that I didn't expect to eat, which were sliced ​​duck blood and duck intestines.

Here, the staff takes excellent care of customers. While eating, there will be a mask-changing show. It creates fun for customers who come to eat. The feeling when eating Chinese hot pot for the first time is that the taste is spicy but bland. It is not as well-rounded as Thai barbecue, which has a full range of flavors. When eating a lot, the taste will be dull. But when it's time to pay, we shouldn't have spent 2,500 baht on this kind of food. But for Chinese people, it must be very delicious because there are a lot of Chinese customers in the restaurant. But it's good that we get to experience new ways of eating. If we don't try, we won't know.

I like the bakery here it's delicious I ate 2 pieces of each because they were small, bite-sized pieces.
