Tomorrow morning, I’ll be heading back to Tak Province once again. So today, my husband took me out for a lunch date at Rim Grass Jelly Phuket & Home Cook, a cozy eatery nestled in Phuket’s Old Town.

Originally, my husband had planned an exciting itinerary for us—he even bookmarked countless attractions and restaurants on his phone, eager to explore together. Little did we know, my trip home would end up being much shorter than expected!

Before I left for Phuket, I had asked my sister when she planned to open her café, and at the time, she wasn’t sure yet. But just a few days after I arrived home, she called me with big news—the café would officially open this coming Friday!

That meant one thing—my husband’s carefully planned adventures had to be put on hold, as I needed to travel back to Tak to help my sister with the final preparations.

Although I felt a little bad for cutting our time short, I knew I had to be there for her special day! 💕✨

"Rim Grass Jelly Phuket & Home Cook" is a small café and restaurant located right in front of Sino House Hotel. It is open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and offers a cozy dining experience with a mix of delicious home-cooked meals and refreshing desserts.

When we arrived, we realized there was nowhere to park, so we had to drive quite a bit further down the road before finally finding a spot in front of a newly opened bakery. As soon as we stepped out of the car, the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked bread filled the air—it was simply irresistible!

We immediately agreed that after finishing our meal, we’d stop by to grab some freshly baked treats before heading home. 🍞✨

"Rim Grass Jelly Phuket & Home Cook" may be a small eatery, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

One of the café’s most unique features is the large tree standing proudly in the middle of the space, adding a touch of nature and a refreshing vibe to the entire place. 🌿✨

Not long after placing our order, our drinks arrived at the table. I decided to try the "Chinese Tea with Snow Milk", a recommendation from a food reviewer who claimed it was a must-try at this café.

The reviewer also suggested adding whipped cheese for an even richer taste, so of course, I went for it. And let me tell you—it did not disappoint! The flavor was absolutely delicious—smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced. ☕❄️✨

The first dish to arrive was "Steamed Fish with Hor Mok Sauce over Rice." It had a rich, flavorful taste that was both comforting and delicious. 🍛✨

One of the signature desserts here is "Bikomoy on a Hot Pan", served sizzling hot. The highlight of this dish is when the staff pours fresh coconut milk onto the heated pan, creating a mesmerizing sizzle and releasing a rich, aromatic scent.

This dessert quickly became my absolute favorite—the flavors were perfectly balanced, rich, and incredibly satisfying. 🍮🔥🥥✨

*After finishing our meal, we walked back to our car, which was parked in front of the newly opened bakery. Even though the shop hadn’t been around for long, it had already gained quite a reputation!

The display was filled with a variety of freshly baked bread and pastries, each one looking more tempting than the last. 🍞✨

While waiting for my husband to pick out some bread, I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos. The interior of the bakery was beautifully decorated in a soft purple theme, giving it a charming and cozy feel.

The display was also adorned with various cake models, each designed with intricate details that made the shop look even more delightful. 🍰💜✨

After selecting a few pastries, we finally headed back home, satisfied with our little food adventure. Even though this outing was unplanned, it turned out to be such a fun and memorable day—enjoying delicious food, discovering a new bakery, and simply spending time together.

As I packed my bags for my upcoming trip to Tak Province, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for these small but meaningful moments. No matter how busy life gets, it’s always nice to take a pause, indulge in good food, and appreciate the little joys along the way. 💕✨
