Hello everyone
After finishing up some housework this morning, I quickly took a shower, got dressed, and headed out to have lunch — and get my nails done — at Robinson Department Store. 🚗💅
It only takes me about 10 minutes to get there, and since today was a Monday, the parking lot was wide open. I parked on the second floor, close to the entrance for easy access. Although Robinson is the closest mall to my house, I don’t come here very often — mostly because it doesn't offer as many facilities as Central Festival. 🛍️
But today, I had a plan: grab lunch at the food court, which is known for being both tasty and affordable, and stop by for a nail treatment. Robinson may be small, but it's definitely convenient for these little errands. ✨🍽️
I headed straight to the food court inside Robinson, determined to find something delicious. There were so many dishes that looked tempting — it was hard to choose just one! 🍛👀
After buying a prepaid food card, I made my way through the rows of stalls, each offering something mouthwatering. I was surprised to see how busy it was — maybe because it was getting close to lunchtime, and a lot of people had come in for their midday meal. ⏰🍽️
Even though there were plenty of food stalls and everything looked amazing, I already knew what I wanted — stir-fried holy basil with century egg (called pad krapao khai yiao ma in Thai). 🍳🌶️
I had eaten it here a couple of times before, and it was absolutely delicious. So I placed my order and then went to grab a bottle of drinking water. By the time I returned, my steaming hot pad krapao with century egg was ready and waiting for me. 🔥🍽️
With my tray in hand, I scanned the food court for a seat that wasn’t too crowded — not an easy task since it was almost lunchtime, and most tables were already taken. 🧍♀️👀
Eventually, I found a spot and set down my tray. The pad krapao with century egg looked absolutely mouthwatering — the colors were so rich and inviting. I couldn’t wait any longer and began eating right away. Every bite was spicy, savory, and delicious — just as I remembered. 😋🔥
After finishing my lunch, I walked over to the nail salon inside Robinson. But when I arrived, I saw that there were already customers being serviced. I asked the nail technician when they could take me, and she said it would be about two hours — a bit too long for me to wait. ⏳💭
I started thinking about where else I could go. Then I remembered there was a nail salon not far from my house. So I left the mall and drove there instead — and as luck would have it, the place was completely free of customers! 🍀🚗
The technician welcomed me in right away and invited me to choose a nail polish color and style. Prices varied depending on the quality of the polish, but I had already made up my mind: I chose a soft pink for both my fingers and toes. 💖💅
Once I had chosen my nail color, the technician invited me to sit on a large, comfy sofa. The salon had two staff members — one started working on my hands, while the other took care of my feet. 🛋️💅🦶
Since both technicians worked at the same time, my nail appointment went by surprisingly quickly. It was efficient, relaxing, and just what I needed. 😊⏱️
I was really happy with how my nails turned out. I’ve always loved simple styles, and this soft pink shade felt just right. 💖
It’s the kind of color that gives off a sense of freshness and well-being — like someone who quietly takes good care of herself. 🌸✨
It might have just been an ordinary Monday, but for me, it was a day filled with small joys — tasty food, a little pampering, and a moment to slow down and care for myself. 🌸💅🍽️
Sometimes, we don’t need anything extravagant. Just a quiet lunch, a color we love, and a bit of “me time” can make all the difference. ✨
Thank you for spending part of your day with me. I hope you also find beauty in the simple things around you. 😊
See you in the next post!
Thank you for your support
