Hello everyone
It was a warm, sunny day when I decided to take my son out for lunch. The clock had just struck noon, and the clear skies promised a pleasant afternoon. Our destination was the Robinson Department Store, conveniently located near our house. The roads were unusually quiet, making our journey smooth and enjoyable. With hardly any traffic, we arrived at Robinson's in just 15 minutes, a delightful surprise.
Upon reaching the department store, I was pleased to find an abundance of parking spaces. We drove around leisurely, finally selecting a spot near the entrance. The parking lot, shaded by a protective roof, offered a respite from the blazing sun. It was a small but significant detail that ensured our car would stay cool while we enjoyed our lunch.
As soon as we stepped inside the mall, the cool air conditioning provided a refreshing contrast to the heat outside. The sweltering temperature we had just endured vanished instantly. We made our way up to the second floor of Robinson Department Store, known for its array of delicious restaurants.
With so many options available, we couldn't decide what to eat. We strolled around, checking out the menus displayed in front of each restaurant, but nothing really appealed to either of us. After a while, I suggested to my son that we eat at the food court instead. He agreed enthusiastically, knowing that the food court offered a variety of affordable options.
So, we headed to the counter to exchange our money for a food card, ready to explore all the different stalls and find something we both liked.
My son opted for the chicken rice with hot soup. After getting his meal, he went to find a seat among the several empty tables available. He chose a spot not too far from the chicken rice shop, making it convenient for us to enjoy our lunch together.
As for me, I was in the mood for something with strong flavors, so I ordered spicy seafood stir-fried with basil. The moment the chef started stir-frying the curry paste, the pungent aroma filled the air, making me sneeze. The dish was served on a large tray with a fragrant fried egg on top, looking both cute and delicious.
After eating our fill, we decided to buy some fruit and desserts that my son liked to take home. We ended up with bags full of snacks and fruits, ready to enjoy later.
Afterward, we went downstairs to buy some towels since the ones at home had been used for a long time and needed replacing. After picking out our towels, we wandered over to the clothes and dolls section. My son spotted a doll he liked and wanted a new one, so I agreed to buy it for him. After a long day of shopping, our arms laden with bags, we made our way to the car, ready to head home.
