As humans, our food menu should have a different feel. Everyone is busy eating different types of food, whether exotic or not. Everyone wants to eat new items all the time. Some make them at home or go to a hotel restaurant and buy them. But have you ever noticed, what kind of food our grandparents used to eat in our past. How they lived their lives. Maybe we have forgotten everything as soon as we touch modernity. The current generation cannot even imagine the past, and many do not want to.

Today I will tell you about a food from that past and share its cooking method with you. Many of you may have eaten this food. The food is made from wheat. We eat many foods made from wheat such as, wheat flour, wheat chhatu, wheat-made Horlicks and many more. Wheat is also used in making besan.

Today I will show you how to cook kheer made from wheat. I used to watch my grandmother cook this food, when I was young,. Although I ate it when I was young, I did not eat it much when I grew up. A few days ago, when I saw wheat at home, I told my mother to make kheer. I like it very much. It is also full of many nutritional qualities. Below I have tried to show all the steps of making kheer.

Kheer or Payesh made from wheat.

Sr.No.Ingredients-
1.Wheat
2.Milk
3.Sugar (if required).
4.Salt

First step:-

First, you have to buy a quantity of wheat from the market, and if you have it at home, then you have to cook with that. You have to leave the wheat in the sun for some time, so that if there are any insects inside, they come out.

Now take about half a kilo of milk and heat it slightly. You can also use packet milk if you want.

Now wash the wheat well with clean water, then put it in a pan and add enough water. So that it boils, then put it in a stove with enough salt and sugar and heat it. The flame should be kept on till the wheat is cooked well.

Once the wheat is cooked and the amount of water in the milk reduces, pour in the heated milk. Then stir well and set aside.

Wheat kheer is ready. Many people cook it without sweets, and later mix it with something sweet while eating. Now pour it on a plate and leave it for some time, it will cool down and become a little like a lump, which will make it very tasty to eat.
