You can share your content, you have the advantage to share it first since you are the one creating and posting it, others can then also choose to share it in other places on reddit.

As long as they aren't sharing it maliciously (with intents to defame or lie or cause a bad reputation to hive/the author), we can't enforce people to remember each and every author that doesn't want their content shared.

You can however ask them not to share it, but it's not something we can enforce or get in the way of.

Sometimes I don't get a chance to share after posting on Hive because it's late, and on Reddit it works better for me to post at a different time.

Regarding the malicious aspect, I've seen that sometimes people pass off other people's content as their own. Users on Reddit comment on content that another user took from Hive, and some respond as if they had made the recipe. They also tend to do this with tourist sites or crafts. I know this isn't easy to track, but it doesn't seem like an act of good faith.
