They look delicious !

I've always wanted to try making real, original-recipe marshmallows - they use the mucilage from the roots of marshmallow plants, but I never got around to growing enough of them. Plus, the bees liked them so much I was reluctant to dig them up to get at the roots. But the flowers went brilliantly in salads, they've got an amazing peppery flavour and they really are pink and white like a good marshmallow should be !
