Hello friends and food lovers! I hope you are all doing very well 😊

Do you also not know what to eat corn with?

Let me explain: a few weeks ago, when we went to visit my parents, they gave me 3 small cans of corn. I usually use corn in mixed salads, but more in summer. And so, I didn't know what to do with this corn at the moment.

So, I looked for recipes to inspire me, on the internet. And I came across a gem recipe that you absolutely have to try: corn pancakes with a yogurt sauce! 😁

I found the recipe on Jow.

It's a quick meal to prepare (less than 20 minutes), which doesn't cost very much and above all, it's a change from usual! We really loved these corn pancakes. 😋

Here is the recipe for 12 pancakes 👇

Ingredients

  • 12 teaspoons of flour (or 4 tablespoons),
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • 200g of drained canned corn,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 60 ml of milk (6 cl),
  • 40g of grated parmesan,
  • 150g of plain Greek yogurt,
  • Garlic powder, paprika (or other spices of your choice),
  • Salt, pepper,
  • Olive oil.

Preparation steps

Preparation of the dough

I first added the flour in a salad bowl:

Sauce preparation

For the sauce, I simply mixed 150 g of Greek yogurt with a little garlic powder, salt, pepper and olive oil.

Cooking

I put a little olive oil in a pan and started to heat it.

Then, I took a wooden spoon and put a little batter in the pan. I tried to do them 2 by 2 to go faster. Cooking is quite quick and depends on your hobs. For my part, I cooked about 1 minute 30 on each side.

Tasting

I decided to serve 5 pancakes each (not very high in calories) with a little green salad and red cabbage. And to enhance the pancakes, there was the little sauce.

It was really super good and original! We loved it and I think we will make this recipe again very soon. The texture was very pleasant and the taste too! 😊

J’ai l’habitude d’utiliser du maĂŻs dans des salades composĂ©es, mais plutĂŽt en Ă©tĂ©. Et donc, je ne savais pas quoi faire de ce maĂŻs pour le moment.

Alors, j’ai cherchĂ© des recettes pour m’inspirer, sur internet. Et je suis tombĂ©e sur une recette pĂ©pite qu’il faut absolument que vous essayiez : des pancakes de maĂŻs accompagnĂ©e d’une sauce au yaourt ! 😁

J’ai trouvĂ© la recette sur Jow.

C’est un repas rapide Ă  prĂ©parer (moins de 20 minutes), qui ne coĂ»te pas trĂšs cher et surtout, qui change de d’habitude ! On a vraiment adorĂ© ces pancakes de maĂŻs. 😋

Voici la recette pour 12 pancakes 👇

Les ingrédients

  • 12 cuillĂšres Ă  cafĂ© de farine (ou 4 cuillĂšres Ă  soupe),
  • 1 cuillĂšre Ă  cafĂ© de levure chimique,
  • 200g de maĂŻs Ă©gouttĂ© en conserve,
  • 2 oeufs,
  • 60 ml de lait (6 cl),
  • 40g de parmesan rĂąpĂ©,
  • 150g de yaourt grec nature,
  • De l’ail en poudre, du paprika (ou autres Ă©pices au choix),
  • Du sel, du poivre,
  • De l’huile d’olive.

Préparation de la sauce

Pour la sauce, j’ai simplement mĂ©langĂ© 150 g de yaourt grec avec un peu d’ail en poudre, du sel, du poivre et de l’huile d’olive.

La cuisson

J’ai mis un peu d’huile d’olive dans une poĂȘle et j’ai commencĂ© Ă  la faire chauffer.

Ensuite, j’ai pris une cuillĂšre en bois et j’ai dĂ©posĂ© un peu de pĂąte dans la poĂȘle. J’ai essayĂ© de les faire 2 par 2 pour aller plus vite. La cuisson est assez rapide et dĂ©pend de vos plaques de cuisson. Pour ma part, j’ai fait cuire environ 1 minute 30 de chaque cĂŽtĂ©.

La dégustation

J’ai dĂ©cidĂ© de servir 5 pancakes chacun (ce n'est pas trĂšs calorique) avec un peu de salade verte et du chou rouge. Et pour agrĂ©menter les pancakes, il y avait la petite sauce.

C’était vraiment super bon et original ! On a adorĂ© et je pense qu’on refera cette recette trĂšs prochainement. La texture Ă©tait trĂšs agrĂ©able et le goĂ»t aussi ! 😊
