Greetings my wonderful lovers of food in #foodiesbeehive. How was your day, I welcome you all to my blog. Today i will love to share with you on how i prepared this delicious and healthy unripe plantain shawarma.

INGREDIENTS USED
2 unripe plantain
2 carrots
3 eggs
2 onion
½ cabbage
1 green pepper
1g of spring onions
1 table spoon of salt
50g of pepper
1g of green beans
1 cooking spoon of vegetable oil
½g of chicken meat
½ seasoning cube
½g ginger
½g garlic


METHOD OF PREPARATION
I wash my unripe plantain thoroughly, peel the back and cut to smaller sizes.

In a blender i add in the unripe plantain, eggs and a little salt and blend till its smooth.

In a clean frying pan i add in oil to grease the pan, then pour in the blended unripe plantain to pan, i spread it so that it will be flat and not to thick in one place. I then set it aside.

I peel the carrot, wash my vegetables, slice and chopped thm, and i blend my red pepper.


In another pan, i add in a tablespoon of oil, add in onion and red pepper, stir to fry

I add in the vegetables- cabbage, carrots, green beans, spring onions and green peppers, add in chopped ginger and and garlic, add in salt to taste and then pour in the remaining blended unripe plantain, it serves as my mayonnaise.

I add in seasoning cube and add in my cooked chicken meat, then to cook for 5 minutes.

After it has cooked for 5 minutes, i pour in the mixture in the unripe plantain platter and roll or wrap it up to form shawarma wrap.


Our health, delicious and tasty unripe plantain shawarma is ready to be served.
This is very healthy for diabetic patients and if you are on diet or you if are on weight management.
