- Azúcar 100 gr
- 1 cucharadita de sal
- 1 huevo
- 1 kg de panela de papelon derretido en 100 ml de agua y clavos de especies
- 500 gr de harina de trigo
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 100g sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 kg of Panela (unrefined cane sugar) melted in 100 ml of water with cloves
- 500g wheat flour

Okay friends, before we get started with the process, we're going to put the 100 grams of sugar we have in our cup into a medium-sized pot and add the melted panela with the cloves. We'll turn on the heat and cook it over low heat. We'll add the sugar so that the sugar melts together with the panela. We'll leave it for five minutes, and after five minutes we'll let it cool to room temperature.

After it cools a little to room temperature, we will place a bowl large enough to beat the other ingredients. We will add our 500g of sifted whole wheat flour, make a hole in the center and add our two tablespoons of butter together and add the egg.

Next, we'll add the sugar, and now we'll add the melted panela along with the sugar. We'll set some aside to add to our tray later where we'll add the mixture, and we'll beat it little by little until these ingredients are mixed with the flour, stirring with folding motions.

Finally comes the step I like, greasing the tray we will use to cook the cake. In this case, we add some of the panela candy that we have kept and add our mixture. We preheat the oven to 180° and bake for 35-40 minutes.
