
What makes a good cake special? Perhaps you'd say its flavor, its fluffiness, its color, or its aroma... But there's something I've discovered that makes it even more special: the way you've evolved, making the recipe better each time. At first, you didn't have faith that it would turn out well, but with practice, and through many learning experiences and mistakes in each step, a good cake also becomes special. In the recipe I'm sharing with you today, I'll give you some simple steps and a few ingredients for making a basic sponge cake base to fill and decorate. I hope you enjoy my recipe and pair this delicious cake with coffee or whatever else you're craving.

- ✅500 kg de harina de trigo leudante
- ✅450 ml de leche líquida
- ✅Una pisca de sal
- ✅250 gr de margarina
- ✅Esencia de vainilla
- ✅400 gr de azúcar
- ✅2 fresh eggs
- ✅500 g self-raising wheat flour
- ✅450 ml milk
- ✅A pinch of salt
- ✅250 g margarine
- ✅Vanilla extract
- ✅400 g sugar

We start by creaming the sugar with the margarine. We're going to add the margarine and sugar to a medium bowl and beat for 5 minutes. The mixture should be pasty and have a lighter color until the sugar is incorporated and melted with the margarine.

After creaming for 5 minutes, we will add the eggs to our mixture one by one and stir.

Next, we add a pinch of salt and the essence, stir again, and then it's time to sift our flour with a juice strainer to avoid lumps, preserving it in another separate bowl.

We then proceed to add flour and milk at the same time and we will beat with folding movements without beating abruptly but gently so that we integrate the ingredients one by one and avoid spills of the mixture, we know that our mixture is ready when small bubbles form on the surface of the mixture.

Now it's time to grease and flour the baking tray. Add the batter and tap it gently to release any air bubbles. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 40 minutes. Halfway through (20 minutes), insert a toothpick to check if the cake is cooked. When it's done, the toothpick will come out clean. Remove from the oven, let it cool for an hour, and then you can enjoy this delicious cake.
