Tell your friends, there is an easy recipe that is high in protein and this is an easy and fun recipe. I tell you, that South Korean food is really amazing. Creating convenience, maybe this is their way of preparing food because of the high level of activity in that country.
Based on my love for Korean dramas, because of its massive development and almost everyone likes the quality of the stories and plots of South Korean dramas that are not boring, that's what makes South Korea very famous in the last 10 years.
I see the film, drama or entertainment industry that is so fast, making everything about South Korea can be known from several film clips, dramas, even from music videos. The presence of the kpop industry makes it very easy to voice about culture in South Korea.
Almost every night, I watch Korean dramas when it's time to go back to bed to rest. Watching 1-2 episodes of ongoing Korean dramas will make you very relaxed, even though it's a thriller drama, I like the way they deliver stories and culture, for example drinking soju or eating Korean food on the side of the road. Seeing it, it really makes me want to taste it.
Of course, it turns out that there are already a lot of Korean foods and also imported ingredients that are massive in my city. It is very easy to get it in several supermarkets that specifically sell Korean products, because it turns out that it is indeed very enjoyable. One of their special foods that is very famous and growing in society is KIMCHI.
I once told you how I made kimchi from mustard greens and it was very easy to re-cook, becoming an additional fiber intake every day, because its shelf life can be used for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator. Makes it very easy for me to make instant noodles if I'm hungry in the middle of the night. You can click here to get my homemade kimchi recipe.
But, what if kimchi was made into something different, not using instant noodles but this is the main source of protein for those of you who need it. For example, you are a gym enthusiast or have long enjoyed exercising, protein is one of the macro needs for the body to stay fit or increase muscle mass? This recipe is the answer.
- 200 gr Chicken breast fillet
- 200 gr fresh squid
- 3 pieces garlic
- 1 tsp fish oil, oyster sauce and sesame oil
- 1 tsp Chili flakes and gochugaru
- 1 bowl of kimchi
The Recipe of Ayam Kimchi Seafood
Why do I use seafood? Because I want to balance the protein from the chicken and also get omega 3 from the seafood. All foods must be balanced, it will keep your body awake even though you are on a diet and exercising very hard.
- First thing first, is to chop the garlic and saute it without using oil on a non-stick pan. Then, I put the thinly sliced chicken into a pan containing garlic that has turned light brown.
- Prepare gochugaru and chili flakes in a small bowl, and then put it in the pan-fried chicken. Don't forget to also add oyster sauce, sesame oil and fish oil. Add a little salt and sugar to make it taste better.
- If it seems that the chicken is ¾ cooked, then add the squid to the pan, because squid is very easy to cook and if cooked too long, the texture will be very chewy and unpleasant to chew.
- After that, add the kimchi and spring onions, wait for 2 minutes until the spring onions wilt. Prepare a bowl of rice and this recipe is perfect for dinner!
THE RESULT
See you the next time hive friends!
