If you are looking for a high protein recipe to support building muscle mass? This is the answer! You know that almost every day I eat eggs as an additional food to achieve daily protein. My weight is 60 kg and I am in protein bulking because the exercise I do is weight lifting. I need a lot of protein.

But, do you know that eating protein is the most boring thing in the world? Even far from that, animal protein often has an aroma that I don't like. Including eggs.

I have done various ways so that the protein can enter my body properly. Until one time, I found the best recipe I have ever done. Making this recipe: Pempek Sutra.

It is called pempek sutra because it has a soft texture like a cloud. Sutra is indeed very soft on the surface. So, the naming of this recipe is certainly very appropriate.

The Ingredients Of Pempek Sutra:

  • 500 gr of egg white
  • Spring onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic and 5 cloves of shallots
  • One pack of coconut milk powder
  • 5 pcs Red chili
  • Salt and oil for frying

How ​​to Make Pempek Sutra:

If you look at the ingredients above, then it seems like this recipe is not that difficult, right? Of course the ingredients are also very easy to get in the supermarket. But, if you don't have egg white, then you have to separate it from the egg yolk. Here there are those who specifically sell egg white only, leftovers from the bread factory.

  • The first is to make 'cuko', which is the sauce used for dipping the pempek. This is the most important because this is where the taste of the pempek is. Chili, shallot, garlic and also cooking vinegar, boiled with 200 ml of water. Then add palm sugar so that there is a sweet, savory taste and a little vinegar. If the water shrinks a little, then set aside and store to cool immediately.

  • Then puree the garlic with a chopper, use a little egg white, do not use water. Puree until the particles are very small and mix with the egg white. Stir with thinly sliced ​​spring onions. Add salt and a little seasoning.

  • Add 100 grams of tapioca flour. Stir until there are no lumps of flour.

  • Take a container that you have greased with oil, then pour it into it. Wait until the steamer is hot and steam for 20 minutes.

  • When ready to steam, remove from the steamer and cool for an hour so you can cut it into small pieces. Fry if you want to eat it. Serve with cuko sauce!
