You might be better off just keeping the bottle of schnapps in the freezer to get the temperature you want. It shouldn't freeze too bad due to the alcohol content. That's how we store our butter shots when we buy them. Then we just take a pull of the bottle, pass it around, and throw it back in the freezer.

        Ah yeah, I would love to do that... but we have a small freezer, and it is packed with frozen meat and things like that... so, my bottle is definitely not going to be welcome there!
